6 quick ways to tell if your tank is defective

  1. It’s possible that water is coming out of the air valve.
  2. When the pressure in the house is at zero, if the tank is heavy and you hear water inside when you move it.
  3. The pump often starts and stops as soon as water is taken in (the normal cycle should last between 30 sec. and 60 sec., the longer the better).
  4. The water is dirty when the pump starts.
  5. There is zero psi in the tank and it is full, due to the complete stretching of the balloon: we recommend replacement.
  6. The tank leaks, presence of rust, cracks or apparent defect.
